Why Two Resumes?
When I taught the portfolio class at the Art Institute of Michigan, we required the students to develop two resumes, one very creative and another more professional. This worked so well for my students that I decided to follow their example. Both of my resumes include similar information. However, the design, layout, and content are dramatically different. You can view and print either or both of my creative and professional resumes by clicking on the thumbnail images.
The creative resume is a more comprehensive, direct, yet playful form of my resume. It includes a complete list of my graphic design and teaching experience displayed in a layout that compliments the website design.
The professional resume focuses on my more recent experience detailing specific accomplishments in a more traditional format.
